Mengers and Sons Farms
Mengers & Sons Farms has been owned and operated by the Mengers family for over 100 years. Located in the small South Texas community of Tynan, Mengers & Sons Farms began as a little farming operation by our ancestor and German immigrant, Charles Mengers. Today it is owned and operated by Tryne and Thomas Mengers. These two brothers are the fourth generation of farmers on this land and have grown the farming operation to 7,000 acres of dryland and irrigated cropland.
Farming South Texas
Farms operated by Mengers & Sons are located in Live Oak County, San Patricio County, Bee County, and Nueces County. We grow corn, cotton, milo, sesame, and wheat and raise American Wagyu beef. As our family continues to grow, so does our business. We are always looking to expand our farming operation in the South Texas area.

Guiding our daily operating and long-term decisions is our faith in God and love for our family. We live out our faith by taking care of the land, resources and people God has blessed us with.

AMERICAN WAGYU BEEF
In recent years Mengers & Sons Farms has expanded our farming operation to include a small ranch of American Wagyu beef. We’ve found American wagyu beef to be one of the most tender and delicious breeds of beef and we enjoy sharing our farm-raised cattle with others. Our beef is available for pick-up and delivery.
